All Made Type C furling booms have a silver anodized body as standard. Therefore the bodies have an excellent life long corrossion resistant finish. It is important to avoid direct contact with stanless steel parts like bolts or nuts. When it is necessary to use stainless steel bolts the use of Tef-Gel is required to isolate both materials.
